  • DJ and record producer Brandon Mashburn, known by his stage name LUX, is making waves with his debut single "RECOVER" featuring the talented NICK LACHEY of the boy band 98°. With a career deeply rooted in a passion for music and a commitment to creating exceptional sounds, LUX is poised to leave a lasting mark on the world of music.

Hailing from Springfield, Missouri, LUX's musical journey began at an early age. Raised in a household where a record player took precedence over a television, he taught himself to play multiple instruments, including drums, guitar, and bass. Soon he crafted a unique sound that would define his musical path.

LUX humbly considers himself fortunate to produce albums, write songs, and of course, grace clubs and stages with his music. Although his journey has only just begun, he has already achieved remarkable milestones. He produces and/or mixes for global icons such as U2, JENNIFER LOPEZ, BEYONCÉ and 98°. He’s collaborated on some BRUNO MARS tunes and works with the likes of fellow Billboard-topping DJ-Producer DAVE AUDÉ. Yet, for him, the true reward is the electrifying experience of performing live in front of passionate crowds of thousands—something he recently did while on tour with AJ MCLEAN and then subsequently with BACKSTREET BOYS as a whole. It's a powerful feeling that allows him to accomplish his goal of having a lasting cultural impact.

Presently, LUX is preparing for the launch of his forthcoming EP, PHOENIX RISING. He has poured his heart and soul into this project and that was certainly felt by Nick Lachey, with whom he collaborated on “Recover.” Lachey elaborates, “Certain songs, when you first hear them, you just know that they’re special. ‘Recover’ was that for me. So thrilled to have been a part of this awesome record with LUX!” The song is a musical journey that explores the themes of LOVE and ASPIRATION. It represents not only LUX’s EVOLUTION as an artist, producer, and writer but also his growth as a human.
